Kymco Bikes, Scooters, Side X Sides & ATV's - Founded in 1964 Kymco (Kwang Yang Motor Company) started as a collaboration with Honda Motor Company of Japan as a high quality overseas manufacturing facility. As the relationship developed over the next two decades, Honda increased its business interest in Kymco and became a major share holder of Kymco.

In 1992 Kymco began selling products developed independent of Honda and marketed under the Kymco brand. In 2003, after 28 years of working with Honda, Kymco acquired back Honda's interest in Kymco  and started developing and marketing products under it's own brand globially.
